Between kindergarten and 5th grade, a child learns to read, write, count, and reason—a huge undertaking that happens just as much at home as it does at school. This collection brings together all our educational books for primary school: everything you need to support every stage without turning your living room into a classroom.
Three ranges, three needs
For the summer, our vacation workbooks help children review the year's curriculum through five worlds to explore, mascot included. For year-round use, the "Grand Livre des Pense-Bêtes" collects the mnemonic devices that help multiplication tables, conjugations, and lessons stick in little heads. And for fans of the basics, the Schoolchild Collection revives the textbooks of yesteryear: syllabic reading, old-school arithmetic, and beautiful vintage engravings.
How to choose based on age?
In kindergarten and 1st grade, prioritize games and reading: a vacation workbook for the grade just completed, or a first syllabic reading book to support learning. From 2nd to 5th grade, everything depends on the current need: reviewing in the summer, memorizing more easily during the school year, or going back to basics with structured lessons. The three ranges actually complement each other very well.
At-home academic support
You don't need to be a teacher to help your child: you mainly need clear materials, a reasonable pace, and a bit of consistency. Our books are designed to be used independently or together, fifteen minutes at a time.
